Yes, that is why I decided not to add PhD to my name, like many PhD scicomm accounts (coucou @BioTurboNick) but added my bronze medal which is very prestigious in France.
I can confirm that no one cares about your PhD title, esp not in academia. I therefore find it extremely funny when people claim that academia is "exclusive" because we insist on a PhD before we listen to someone. Not so: only cases you need it is when you apply for a job.
I believe that I have always stood on solid ground but with the imminent deprecation of the block button I am starting to think that the I will soon be on shaky ground.
@flodebarf Why was there a block feature anyway? Twitter was to be a public square. If you want to speak nonsense on a square you can expect people to speak up but with blocking you can just prevent experts refuting you.
Blocking was for people who lost the argument
Some folks imply I'm clueless about furry cleavage sites. Wrong! I'm well-aware of what they are, and they're unrelated to pangolins. Pangolins are scaly, not furry. Common knowledge, right? #SettingTheRecordStraight

These kinds of decisions by such despots are far more dangerous to society than research on novel respiratory pathogens at BSL2 as the conspiracists will have you believe. Without the ability to block my life will be meaningless.
The lab leakers are taking things to the extreme. After demanding retractions from scientific articles, they're now targeting my friend Philipp, an influencer, who isn't even a scientist. This is going too far. #ScienceAndInfluencersUnite

At EgoWealth, we value spirited debate and put past names like 'Dastwat' behind us. Eddie Holmes' contributions as a scientist and his hobby photography (remember the 2014 raccoon dog picture?) have strongly supported the market origin theory. We're proud to support his efforts!
@JH16124219@flodebarf Apologies for the "LOL" faux pas, @flodebarf! I'll tread more carefully, leaving unsavory language to conspiracy theorists. Next time, I might consult with our parody expert, @ansgarjohn, for a lesson in Twitter comedy. #ParodyGuruJohn
