@TheSloppyFatBoy @EuroHeg It's so telling how so many people think that the 60k was meant as a brag. One track mind. Proves exactly your point @EuroHeg
I told a friend's 15 yo old son that outside of Europe, people don't have to dismiss a cookie warning before they can view a web site, and at first he didn't believe me.
@c_lindner "Mit Hilfe von KI". Bullshit Bingo at it's best. Ein bisschen String Marching würde es vermutlich auch tun ;). Überhaupt etwas Digitalisierung wäre ja schonmal ein guter Anfang!
In office hours today I talked to a pair of founders who needed a new idea. It turned out they already had a great idea, but had been ignoring it because they didn't know how to "monetize" it. I told them to just build it. This thing could have 100 million users.
@mirzawriting Yes, way behind. In Europe it’s often just focussed on the delivery via Scrum, where in the US (especially Big Tech) product management is much more than that. This goes hand in hand with empowered tech teams and not swing “IT” as a cost center that needs to be told what to do
Switzerland is a little too tidy. It seems as if it was created by space aliens who were trying to reproduce a human's idea of paradise, and got it almost right. Fortunately you only have blur your perception by about one beersworth to stop noticing this.
Several years into GDPR, it remains fucking bonkers in practice. Every site on the internet gets an awful pop-up that no one reads and clicks anything to make it go away as quickly as possible. It’s an idea that 100% backfired and is pointless and makes every website worse.
