6am to 7am . The fallowfield loop stretch I’m walking today has had a count of 3 runners / joggers. 3 dog walkers . 2 walkers . 2 cyclists . The social media internet ‘presence’ of the fallowfield loop is nearly exclusively cycling . This is not reality .
The Fallowfield loop is a lot of different things to a lot of different people. It has an odd reputation on the Internet. I’ve been walking and cycling on here every day for 25 years, for me. It’s mainly what you seen this photo. A peaceful place to go for a bike ride or a walk.
If you’re unsure check the sustrans website or speak the sustrans reps when they are on the loop . The lovely historic fallowfield loop is for everyone . So slow down and look at the trees and listen to the birds
Kindly Remember people and be nice. If your cycling on the fallowfield loop and a walker is in front of you , Be patient , it is and has always been a shared path and green space for all users . Cyclists should limit their speed . It’s not prioritised for cyclists commuter use .
10k walk on the floop. Gathering thoughts . Planning , reflecting . Listening to the birds sing and the watching the light replace the night . The unsung treasure that is the #fallowfieldloop ❤️
