When I was in Toronto 2 weeks ago, Nigerians I met had issues with content creators that create this sort of content.
We are unnecessarily loud and disorganized. Almost every food franchise in Toronto employed a certain Nationality and I have never seen their content online.
A girl in Vietnam entered a clothing store but kept missing the saleswoman because they moved at the exact same moments. After about a minute, they finally bumped into each other in a funny “glitch” moment 😂
congratulations to you or the person.
dear Nigerian TTC mothers, listen up!... when you have a positive pregnancy test... especially after an IVF. This is not according to any guideline. This is from experience as a fertility specialist in Nigeria
1) keep it to yourself!... wait for a confirmation scan... and see the heart beat
2) after confirmation, still keep it to yourself.
3) wait for your next scan. Check for anomaly
4) Still keep it to yourself. Do not go to anywhere to give testimony or dance. A woman has had a miscarriage after dancing and jubilating in the church!
5) You can't hide pregnancy. Again, keep it to yourself.
Don't quote me anywhere. This is my humble counsel. Listen to me and win... I'm not joking... I'm not being a doctor here, I'm being heavily Nigerian!
OAU transport system was near perfect, adequate buses and bikes, we rarely experienced queues until the First Lady came and decided she didn’t like the ease of transportation and introduced “change” by donating CNG buses.
The school management in turn banned all motorcycles and commercial buses on campus and subjected over 30,000 students to just about 50 buses and a few tricycles. OAU has one of the largest land masses of any Nigerian university, yet students are now stranded daily.
This is a Monday morning where students are supposed to rush for class, but they are stuck at the campus gate because of the inefficiency of the CNG buses.
Students are struggling to go to class in the morning and in the evenings to even get back to their hostels.
Students staying off campus now spend almost double to get to campus, all alternative transport means have been removed
The management have cars to bypass all of this, but majority of students do not. Yet they released statements talking about how the buses will “ease transportation” and even implied students appreciate the system. Meanwhile, students are trekking, missing classes, and spending hours in queues.
Let it be clear that students do not appreciate this system. It has made our lives harder, not better. What used to be a smooth system has now become a daily struggle.
There are many pressing issues in this school, but they chose to dismantle a working transport system and replace it with hardship.
We can no longer remain silent. Let the whole world know what OAU students are going through.
Please if you come across this tweet, help us retweet it whether you are an OAU student or not
We demand our towngboro buses and motorcycles back.

Your salary is already taxed, then you go out and buy something and still pay tax on your already taxed money, then you save some money with @piggyvest to get some interest and the govt taxes your savings too. Yet, I have no light to work so I have to spend my taxed money to buy taxed fuel for my taxed generator
