Trump has a problem: THE AMERICAN PEOPLE ARE CATCHING ON TO HIS FAILED POLICIES.

* The cost of gas, housing and groceries are soaring.
* 15 million Americans will soon be thrown off the healthcare they have so that he could provide a trillion in tax breaks to the 1%.
* There is a grassroots rebellion against his desire to see AI unregulated and data centers proliferate in every state.
* His unconstitutional and illegal war in Iran is increasingly unpopular.

So. What do you do when you have no rational solutions to the crises we face? You go to the demagogue’s playbook of spreading racism and hatred.

No, Mr. President. Abdul El-Sayed is not “a RADICAL Extremist, Terrorist Sympathizer.” He is a medical doctor who wants to guarantee healthcare for all, raise wages for workers, end your “endless wars” and stop U.S. support for the extremist Netanyahu government in Israel.

In 1960, bigots said: “Don’t vote for John F. Kennedy. He’s Catholic.” They failed.

In 2008, bigots said: “Don’t vote for Barack Obama. He’s Black.” They failed.

In 2026, bigots like Trump are saying: “Don’t vote for Abdul El-Sayed. He’s Muslim.” They will also fail. The people of Michigan will not fall for Trump’s racism and hatred.

Yesterday in the Senedd, Welsh Labour voted to protect all four of Wales’ professional rugby regions.

With the future of Welsh regional rugby at stake, we backed a motion calling for all four teams to be retained.

But Plaid Cymru voted it down. The motion failed.

Our rugby regions are an important part of Welsh sporting life, supporting local communities, developing talent and inspiring the next generation of players.
