Tested positive on lateral flow. My cough was so bad I accidentally coughed on the stick. Did the job!

So according to current rules, if I get two negative lateral flows on days 5 and 6 I can leave isolation. But I've not yet tested positive on a lateral flow. Just a PCR. So do I trust that?
