@NHS_HealthEdEng I've seen people quit this field entirely because of roles like the PWP. The passion for working in mental health drained from them entirely. Anecdotal yes, but enough for me to see that there are serious issues that you have not addressed, instead you pretty much victim blame.
Hey @NHS_HealthEdEng want to retain other professions like the PWP? Make the role/training better, people don't leave just for the DCLIN, they leave because for many it's stressful, there's burnout, limited scope for variety. Don't trap people like this.
Health Education England: Delay the implementation of the 2-year HEE funded requirement for the DCLIN application - Sign the Petition! https://t.co/n1FNxCUK2d via @UKChange
The announcement by HEE today regarding those who embarked on another NHS funded course (e.g. PWP, CWP, HI) is unfair and someone could also say unethical. The #dclinpsy profession is very competitive, hence people may use their experience/skills acquired in these roles…
My closest friends father heartbreakingly passed away recently from bowel cancer. Cancer doesn’t stop during a pandemic, we must continue to support all areas of healthcare. Please donate anything if you can: https://t.co/jNOjk8WQX3

Anyone know of financial support for vulnerable families in London, living in poverty during COVID? I know food banks are on their knees. SEND/SEMH families at risk despite some school provision. Thank you.
