🚨🇩🇪🇷🇴 AfD representatives in Germany are calling for Călin Georgescu's RELEASE.
RESPECT.
What's happening to Georgescu is a MASSIVE INJUSTICE. He is Romania's REAL president.

Patriotic Romanians outside the Birmingham consulate are chanting: "Călin, Călin, we are here with you." "Călin Georgescu is being politically persecuted—free him."

WHO DECIDES WHO CAN GOVERN ROMANIA?🇷🇴
Romania is facing a question that goes far beyond one political party.
President Nicușor Dan has publicly stated that he would condition the formation of the next government on AUR not being brought into the cabinet. His explanation was that AUR’s participation in government could damage Romania’s relations with its security partners and with the European Union.
That statement deserves international attention.
Because in a democracy, political power is supposed to come from elections, parliamentary representation and the ability of parties to build a legitimate majority.
So what happens when a party that received millions of votes is effectively told that its participation in government is unacceptable because of the possible reaction of Romania’s external partners?
This is no longer simply a debate about AUR.
It becomes a debate about where political authority begins and where it ends.
Romania absolutely has international commitments. It is a member of the European Union and NATO, and its security and economic partnerships matter enormously. But international partnerships and domestic democratic representation are two different things.
And this distinction matters.
If a Romanian political party acts unlawfully, there are institutions, courts and constitutional procedures designed to deal with that.
But if that party remains legal, participates in elections, receives votes and holds seats in Parliament, then excluding it from government raises a legitimate democratic question that deserves a clear answer.
The president says his position comes from the mandate voters gave him to preserve Romania’s pro-Western direction and financial stability. He also said explicitly that his position was not motivated by disrespect toward AUR voters.
But those voters are also Romanian citizens.
Their votes do not disappear simply because their political choice creates discomfort in Brussels, among security partners or inside Romania’s political establishment.
And this is precisely where the debate becomes much bigger than the name of one party.
Can external considerations determine which democratically elected political forces are considered acceptable for government?
If the answer is yes, Romanians deserve to know exactly where that limit is, who establishes it and on what constitutional basis.
Because ultimately, the most important question is not whether someone supports AUR or opposes AUR.
The question is much simpler:
In Romania, who has the final word over the country’s government — the Romanian electorate and Parliament, or the expectations of Romania’s external partners?
🇷🇴🤝🇫🇷 Freedom has no borders!
A heartfelt THANK YOU to Les Patriotes 21 for standing in solidarity with Călin Georgescu and for defending the same fundamental values: FREEDOM, DEMOCRACY and PEOPLE’S RIGHTS.
