One funny thing that happened to me: a girl I was supposed to live with in Heidelberg found my X and sent me a long message saying she couldn’t live with me anymore, citing my anti-immigration views, as she herself was an immigrant from Brazil… she had a German surname, spoke German, looked German, in Germany to study. I never replied because what do you even say to that.
