The ground-breaking service is a partnership of St George’s, @NHSBartsHealth, @ImperialNHS and @Ldn_Ambulance.

@Plyons251 As med reg I have been called to - a boiler failure and lack of hot water, a flooded basement level (with no patients) a stray cat, wasps, a trapped pigeon, and an actual bin fire. Have never been prouder of my training whipping into action. Sadly more girl guides than med school

Today we remember the one and only Dr Kate Granger MBE who died on this day in 2016.

Kate was an inspiration to thousands across the NHS and her legacy lives on in so much of what we do.
