Hello, this is Kim Donghan
I’m honestly feeling quite unsettled myself having to share this news so suddenly. From the time I first joined WE Entertainment to all the moments I spent together with the WEi members, I’ve created so many stages and memories with RUi.
During my time promoting as WEi, I was able to learn, laugh, and worry about things together with the members and so many things I never would have been able to experience on my own. I think those moments helped me become a stronger person.
Because of the members who stood on stage with me while looking toward the same goal, and because of RUi who loved and cherished those times with us, my time as WEi was a period of happiness that brings tears to my eyes.
Now, I will be concluding my contract as an artist for the time being and will be away for a while to fulfill my military service. I know you may feel disappointed and worried, but I hope you won’t worry too much.
During this time, I want to take the opportunity to look back on myself and take care of myself for the first time. And then I’ll come back as a stronger person and a better person.
From JBJ to my solo activities and then WEi, thank you so much for being with me through all the precious moments of my life. I’ll take care of myself and return safely and in good health.
And I would also like to express my gratitude to CEO Wi Myunghee and all the many staff members who have worked so hard for me over the past 12 years.

Hello RUi. This is Yongha~
I imagine you must have been taken aback by this sudden news, so I ended up writing this letter.
First of all, I want to say that I’m so grateful to RUi for giving me so much love and attention. I was someone who was lacking in many ways, but thanks to RUi, I was able to grow, and I want you to know that those times were so precious and happy to me.
And I think many of you must be very curious about my thoughts and which direction I’ll take. Honestly, I couldn’t help but think about you all, and I felt that I needed time to think about my plans for the future. I’m anxious about the fact that I don’t have any certainty either, but I hope I can shake off this anxiety and have a day when I can see RUi again with a smile.
And I’m so grateful to all the staff who worked hard to put someone like me on stage and allow me to receive so much love during this time.
Lastly, to our WEi members who became my family in an unfamiliar environment: thank you, I’m sorry, and I love you. Just having gained the members was enough to make these times truly happy and without regrets. I’ll always support you!!
