Using Flowfal to control the position of a piano sound in 3D space.
We are using the @EnvelopSound Envelop4Live ambisonic plug-ins to move the sound around. Binaural output of Envelop4Live gives an idea of how this would sound live. Needs headphones to work properly.
Very happy to announce that Flowfal is now also available on the Isotonik Studios website as a Free/Pay As You Feel product.
Loads of interesting M4L devices on the site.

Alysa Chee experimenting with Flowfal in the studio, Nov 2024.
Alysa is using a watch running Flowfal on each wrist to trigger the stick sounds on one side and the bass drum on the other, whilst singing.
Audio recorded by Ali Kazemi.

A clip of me playing Pixel Rash at the Dublin Castle EMOM in London, Nov 2024.
The two black wand things I am waving around are @flowfal devices that are triggering two breakbeats - one for each hand - so all the beats you can hear are being triggered live by my movements.
A short clip of a session run by @PellEnsemble and @thunkist at the @dance_east Youth Festival.
The dancers are wearing @flowfal smartwatches that allow them to trigger sounds as they move. Full video in YouTube link in bio.
Using Fowfal to control a visualizer, the Ganz Graf Mod X plugin.
The X and Y rotation are mapped to the Ganz Graf X and Y inputs, rotating the image.
The magnitude of phone acceleration is mapped to the Ganz Graf shading type.

The second breakbeat is always running, but notes from that are only allowed through when there is movement of the phone.
This allows you to create lots of different versions of a break in a very musical way.

Using two Samsung Android watches to approximate a Theremin.
The roll of the left hand controls the note being played.
Raising the left arm adds vibrato.
Raising the right arm controls the volume.

A demo showing Flowfal controlling the Wavetable synth.
The movement is coming from a standard Samsung Android watch.
- The watch roll is controlling the filter cut-off frequency
- The watch pitch is controlling the wavetable position

Version 1.4.1 of Flowfal is now live:
- Control signal filtering is much smoother
- A new scope display for acceleration, rotation and attitude inputs on all controls
- A bug where the start angle could not be greater than the end value for attitude inputs has been fixed

We will be showing Flowfal sending MIDI output from phone/watch movements, which is then being used to control the Wonkystuff modular system, using their new IMDI MIDI modules.
