@marcportermagee They also filter by telling kids "you are not a good fit for that ivy. consider this other school (which happened to me)." So, they don't waste the ivy's time by sending tons of applications that aren't a good fit.
@marcportermagee I went to one of the schools listed. They provide excellent education, that education is specifically geared towards the ivy into which they feed (l'ville=princeton; Milton=Harvard; etc.). When the counselor says "this kid is a good fit", the college knows that kid will be good
@factorydoge69 The number of people who pay their way in is countable on your fingers. Recall that the Rotschild kid got denied from Columbia for bad grades (Epstein files).
@potential__sam@literaryeric that kid that got in may be under qualified. maybe he shouldn't have gotten in. but that doesn't mean your kid should have gotten in. self-reflection is important.
