As for my favorite read, I think I would have to say Kindred because it was our first, the longest, and I feel like I've engulfed myself so much, especially with writing my final about it! I'm still all over that novel, haha #HongLit

I think it was interesting to be able to read the accent of the characters. I love how Mootoo shows the culture and division that exists with different subgroups within a group of people. Not everything is a clean box like how outsiders label things as #honglit
