@CurtMWeiler The US has reached its peak in soccer until changes are made at the youth level, to bring them alongside the European model of developing players. The pay to play system in America is a hindrance to talent.
Final 16 is the ceiling that CONCACAF teams can’t seem to breakthrough. With the exception of 1930 and 2002 the US always falters at this stage. Is it mental? Is it talent? They just can’t seem to figure it out.
@VickyR1chter VAR can’t issue a red card, that’s exactly what happened. In real time the ref didn’t even call a foul, FIFA corrected their mistake by their own rules, nothing to do with politics.
@Nwa_Anam_@PolymarketSport How can you INTENTIONALLY foul someone without looking at them? A red card is an INTENTIONAL foul, not a UNINTENTIONAL foul when playing the ball, not to mention VAR INCORRECTLY using replay to assess the foul.
@shaunvlog_ Nah, the Scotland/England rivalry has nothing on the US/Mexico rivalry. US fans don’t root for Mexico, that’s heresy. They absolutely hate US and the feeling is mutual. Dos a cero!
@FrancoPanizo I know this will rub you wrong, but when you use still shots and super slow motion, specifically deemed by FIFA as illegal to make a call, then you make good on a illegal ruling, thus bringing integrity to the situation, hope that helps.
🚨💣 BREAKING: This is INSANE.
A PR agency reportedly reached out to several major football accounts and influencers on X, offering paid campaigns to push Pro-Argentina narratives during the World Cup. 🇦🇷
One large Football X account claims they were approached and asked to post content portraying Argentina are not being favored by FIFA
It could explain why so many unrelated accounts suddenly started flooding the timeline with the exact same “Argentina and Messi are not favored by FIFA” narrative. 👀
