also any tweets that are not directly responding to a person are just me putting my thoughts out into the universe so i can read through my own tweets later,, its not for anyone to scroll through and take personal because it really isnt that deep. this is my priv.
@britsae@viviznt seeing this months after because i did not get notified but im not american so rang for me does not have that "nasal" sound you described thats why i used that example. didnt think about the american pronounciation at all
did it based on my favourite albums of what i currently have on my apple music (minus hamilton because i love it but it cant be on my wrapped/replay for the third year in a row so i banned it). dark and wild should be on there but i didn't want it to be bts alone
@TheCityOfFlower@chillischillin during the military they wouldve all been trained in hand to hand combat but conscription is lame and this is a silly post.
anyway muted cause irdgaf. i just thought that this specifically was a weird thing to say and that the child in that situation is allowed to expresss their dislike for it. ofc they lived before the child, but a child is still allowed to be upset when they die
well yes but also why have kids later in life if youre gonna die and leave them alone in the world. (said as someone who doesnt ever want kids) like ofc live your life but to act like it isnt unfair to the child in that situation is silly. they didnt ask to be born to parents
@JonesyArtCo no im talking about the person who quoted and said their parents had them at 40. idc about anne or anyone else who is having a child at 40. i just thought what barrett said in response was silly and the child in that situation is allowed to feel however they want about it
@staarvchaser no one is upset about parents having lives? im not upset at all, actually.
i agreed with op and then followed up with my statement about how the child in that situation is also allowed to have their own feelings in regard to that situation and its silly to act like they arent
@staarvchaser my entire point was that the child in that situation is allowed to feel like its an unfair situation and to say "well they lived a life before you" in response to their feelings is silly
@holdtoheal yeah i was mostly talking about how barrett acted like the person they screenshotted wasnt allowed to feel the way they feel about having older parents and losing them young with their first hand experience. its weird to say "well they had a life before you anyway so who cares"
@arwenseas i was specifically refrencing the tweet that they posted a picture of acting like the person was wrong to say they didnt get to spend enough time with their mother because their mother "lived a life before them"
