Pay → idempotency → validate → auth → hold → charge → response → update → notify → post-process ✅

Brief explanation :

1.User Initiates Payment → Sends amount, currency, payment method.

2.Generate Idempotency Key → Prevent duplicate charges on retries.

3.Validate Payment Data → Check user info, card details, currency, limits.

4.Authenticate & Authorize → Bank or payment gateway checks funds & 3D Secure.

5.Hold / Reserve Funds → Temporarily lock funds if needed.

6.Process Charge → Capture payment from card/account.

7.Handle Gateway Response → Success, failure, timeout, or decline.

8.Update System / Ledger → Record transaction status.

9.Notify User → Confirmation email, SMS, or in-app alert.

10.Post-Processing → Refunds, retries, reconciliation, analytics.
