📍 I built a food app that doesn’t use ratings.
No scores.
No ads.
Just real meals shared by real people.
Every post is pinned on a global map 🌍
20+ countries already joined.
Welcome to FoodGram 🍽️

Good morning from Japan 🇯🇵
Thinking a lot about motivation.
Making progress visible can change how people keep going.
Still building FoodGram step by step.

You don’t remember every meal.
But some stay with you.
FoodGram lets you capture those moments and revisit them anytime.

Good morning from Japan 🇯🇵
Realizing more and more:
People don’t trust ratings —
they trust what looks good to them.
That’s what I’m building FoodGram around.

Wrapped up the day working on a feature that adds real value to FoodGram.
You can now revisit past posts as a personal record.
I think this makes posting more meaningful.
Still refining it.

Yesterday’s progress on FoodGram:
• Added draft posts
• Improved the Home Widget
• Show snackbar when translation fails
• Convert currency based on user language settings
Small improvements, but all focused on better UX.

Good morning from Japan 🇯🇵
Thinking about how to make it easier to come back and finish a post.
That small loop might matter more than we think.

Why I’m thinking about adding draft posts to FoodGram:
Sometimes people start posting,
but don’t finish.
Not because they don’t want to —
but because the moment passes.
If we can save that moment,
we can lower friction and reduce drop-offs.
