@stimimi You will never understand it because you don’t live it
The child that can’t sit still, the child constantly excluded ,shamed , the child who is impulsive, who is never good enough and labelled a failure .
Years later as an adult learns all along it was adhd. It’s liberating
@stimimi And many children who are undiagnosed go on to never get the support they deserve , are labelled as “naughty children” then move towards addiction and risk taking behaviours as they’re constantly seeking dopamine , struggle with sleep and are blamed for their brain!
@DudeAdhd@stimimi Very harmful individual. I’m glad he’s never worked with me or my child! Diagnosis has been life changing for us . No one can argue with lived experience

Read that - diagnosis can be life changing. Too many kids are failed , undiagnosed leading to suicide . How many are turning to drug use because of misdiagnosis or family blame ? Your narrative is actually harmful
I’be since learned- I have ADHD and more recently autistic . It explains a lot and massively explains the masking that I’ve done for so long and regular burnouts and overwhelm just managing day to day life .it also explains why in many ways I used the anorexia to control my life
it’s been a long time since I was on this platform. I took tome out to work on myself and recover from anorexia. It’s been a long road but my goodness I’m in a much better place ! I’ve left teaching which really was toxic and now training to be a therapist p1/2
@bphillipsonMP@PutneyFleur My son’s EHCP (took 1year to get) will never meet his needs .Now have to wait a year for tribunal while my son can’t access education . He is very bright, could have achieved 9s at GCSE ! Ive had to leave my teaching job to support him . Single parent , Now the financial worry
@bphillipsonMP My child is being failed . His EHCP will never meet his needs . The provisions aren’t right, the school is the wrong environment . But now I have to wait a year for tribunal while my son can’t access an education . My child is extremely bright - could have achieved 9s at GCSE !
@gfreeman2012 EHCP stress is causing me to feel like I can’t go on .The fighting , the LA doing what they want and now to go to tribunal a year down the line ! Sen code of practice says it must be smart. My sons is anything but! terrible he’s being so let down not even accessing class
@HopeVirgo 2 years ago I was told that because my BMI wasn’t low enough I couldn’t access ED services . Therefore not fitting the diagnosis criteria .i now have been rejected for mortgage protection because my medical notes say I had an ED! Seriously! I’m fuming!
@bphillipsonMP@BeckyFrancis7 Foster carer ,ex SEN teacher here , also worked in mainstream , I also am training to be a counsellor for those who are neurodivergent . I feel I would be able to offer so much insight into so many of the barriers to learning and have so many ideas. I would love to talk to you
#kingcharles my nana loved her card she received today! 💯 years old! Born in 1924 and saw WW2 in Manchester, her 2 brothers were evacuated & she spent most of her times hiding in the shelters! She worked in a cotton mill & often painted ladies legs for stockings ! Fascinating.
