As the actors portraying these characters, what do you think is the core emotional thread between them that makes their relationship so moving and compelling?

Faye: You answer first.

Atom: You mean the connection between Arisa and Lalin?

For Lalin, I think it's love. Lalin fell in love with Arisa the moment she opened that bathroom door. She wanted to be with someone who made her feel comfortable and safe. Lalin hadn't received much love in her life, and Arisa filled that void. So I think love is what connects the two characters.

Faye: I think it's the story itself, the bond they build, and the experiences they share. Their growing closeness and emotional connection are what bring them together. They start as two strangers who aren't close at all, but over time they gradually become deeply connected.

🔸Q: Producer Pinpin has praised Atom for her strong stage presence and expressive performance as a singer. Faye also demonstrated a remarkable sense of style and fashion during Milan Fashion Week. When portraying a character, do you think there are any common threads between expression through music, expression through fashion, and expression through acting?

Faye: A connection? For me, fashion and music have always gone hand in hand.

Atom: It's art.

Faye: Exactly. Art expressed through music and art expressed through fashion naturally belong together.

Atom: They're both forms of beauty that complement each other.

🔸Q: There’s a very popular comment online describing the two of you as having "bubble tea chemistry", fans say that when Atom is alone, she seems like a calm and quiet milk tea, but whenever she’s with Faye, it’s like the tapioca pearls suddenly come alive and burst with energy. Have you noticed this change yourselves? And who was the first to discover that the other person had this kind of "hidden feature" personality?

Faye: I think the fans probably noticed it before we did. We feel very comfortable around each other. We talk all the time. We're always texting.

Atom: She sends me things all the time. Usually memes, like edits where my face appears in cartoons. They're really cute.

Faye: Yes, exactly.

Atom: She sends me everything.

🔸Q: The "pinching cheeks" interaction between the two of you has become incredibly popular, starting from your live streams and continuing into fan events. How did this interaction first begin? It has now become one of your signature gestures as a pair. If you had to describe the feeling this interaction gives you in just one word, what would it be?

Faye: How did it start? I honestly don't know. I don't know why I kept getting pinched.

Atom: I don't remember either. I was just being myself. Normally when I find someone adorable, I get the urge to pinch. Then I saw her and wanted to pinch her. That's probably how it started.

Faye: Do you remember what I gave you on Valentine's Day?

Atom: Flowers.

Faye: And what else?

Atom: Hair clips.

Faye: And what else?

Atom: What else?

Faye: (laughing) How could you forget? That was the very first thing I bought. I didn't give you just one gift on Valentine's Day.

Atom: You gave me a lot of things... PongNeng and TuengNued?

Faye: Not only PongNeng and TuengNued.

Faye: Well, those too...

Atom: Hair clips, ribbons, flowers... Polaroid photos...

(They whisper to each other.)

Faye: It was the ribbon.

Atom: But I already said ribbon.

Faye: Not at first! It was a tulip-pattern ribbon. Everyone should go look it up. That was one of the Valentine's gifts. And the flower-shaped hair clips were custom-made... no, not custom-made... How many did I give you?

That memory stands out to me. Valentine's Day was approaching, and I wanted to give her some small gifts. It was really sweet.

Atom: For me, my favorite moment was something P'Faye did for me. It wasn't about gifts; it was about comfort.

There was one day when I was extremely stressed, like my head was about to explode. Then she came over, held my cheeks like this...

That made me feel warm and safe. It helped me open up to her more. I'm really happy to have her beside me through all of my work.

Faye: That's the first time I've heard that.

🔸Q: This series is the first production released after Faye established her own company, and many people see it as a major breakthrough in her career. Since Atom and Faye worked closely together, did you notice any differences in Faye when she switched between her roles as producer and actress?

And from the other perspective, Faye, during the filming process, was there any moment when Atom made you think, “Wow, she’s even more impressive than I imagined”?

Faye: What's different? The responsibility is much greater. I'm no longer just an actress who arrives on set, does the work, and goes home. I feel responsible for everything involved in the production.

Fortunately, I had an amazing team. The Fabel team, the production team, the Moongdoo team- everyone helped so much. Sometimes P'Book and P'Prae wouldn't sleep at all. At one or two in the morning, they were still sending work back and forth.

Seeing the final result made all the exhaustion worth it. Reading both criticism and praise, learning from it, improving from it, and then seeing positive feedback- that's already enough satisfaction for me.

As for what exceeded my expectations, this was Atom's first acting project.

While she was filming, I was standing at the monitor with the director, producer, and the rest of the crew. Especially the directors; they kept saying that if this was truly her first series, she was doing exceptionally well. Better than anyone expected. She's a very quick learner.

Hearing those comments made me feel proud of her. She's really talented, and that's something that left a strong impression on me.
