nobody talks about how weird it is being ~kinda~ suicidal. it’s not like you plan on doing it but everything just feels heavy and exhausting and you wouldn’t mind if something happened but on the other hand you can’t go because you have pets and loved ones. do i make sense.

“Hasan Piker is a millionaire”
The idea that you MUST be poor to have a progressive politic on ANY ISSUE is so fucking ridiculous and it’s also not new. He’s a giant of a content creator. That’s it. They keep trying it with AOC too (who keeps having to prove how broke she is to yall)
It's a trap. If you're poor and you criticize capitalism, you're envious. If you're rich and you criticize capitalism, you're a hypocrite. The truth is, of course, that the powers that be do not want capitalism to be criticized or even questioned. They want "no alternative."
The rush to forgive Kanye and ingest his art again is really some of the most disappointed I have felt in a while.
He was prolific in advancing anti-semetic sentiments in this country and also is openly dealing with sexual assault case
Idc that he bought a NYT ad saying sorry
it’s crazy that 95% of people just want a nice normal life on our beautiful, already abundant planet where they can have their basic needs met and cute experiences with their loved ones and then we have these 5% of evil, narcissistic goons at the top fucking it up for all of us
At some point, there was a cultural development where we began calling the requirement of skill "gatekeeping", and the appreciation of the skill "elitism", and I vote we stop doing this immediately.
I think the hardest part of the current political climate is realizing how many people are actually just evil. Not misinformed or uneducated... just openly and happily enjoying other people's suffering.
