@paigeinabook94 @HydroHammond I also like this book a great deal! But also recommend an article by Jonathan Phillips: Storytelling in the Earth Sciences: The eight basic plots https://t.co/xGtYOlEJC8
Congratulations to Mary Eminue (no twitter, Master’s student) who gave her first presentation at #AAG! Thanks for organizing the session Geomorphology Specialty Group!
Webinars for the #IntGeomorphWeek continue with 'Southern Europe', tomorrow 2nd March at 13:00 UTC!
Registration is of course open to everyone - see our Eventbrite page: https://t.co/cnfgOD4KGJ

@paleoMunoz @scottstgeorge @paleo_ray I’ve also been thinking about this, Scott. Finally have a student interested. Despite my previous comment, we’ve wondered whether hydroextremes of all kinds might have more in common with each other than their more moderate versions, allowing their observations to be combined?
@paleoMunoz @scottstgeorge @paleo_ray Agreed, Sam. Can’t be any worse than picking a hypothetical PDF to simulate potential scenarios, especially if there’s good hydroclimate similarities across sites?
In partnership with @UofAlabama we’re constructing a new Hydrologic Instrumentation Facility in Tuscaloosa, AL.
@USGS scientists recently got to go behind-the-scenes with those constructing the facility to see the walls and the steel structures being placed.
