@joshmanders@_Sanderr Apologies - it thought you were referring to the attribution line; that’s usually what people are complaining about (and what the post before the one I directly replied to was talking about).
That’s odd behaviour - not seen that at all.
@joshmanders@_Sanderr Eh? Thats not what we were talking about, was it? This is about the attribution line in commits and PRs?
Meh. I think opt out is fine - any rational person will have a quick peruse through the config before using it in anger anyway.
@joshmanders@_Sanderr I’d argue it is relevant, but I also accept that the counter argument has valid. Either way I don’t think this is outrageous when you can just turn it off.
@IGNorantreturns@deeez_guts@Apogee_Ent You don’t have any pronouns? Are you really sure of that?
Yet another datapoint that suggests a direct link between bigotry and brainrot.
@ArticleSums@bmay He’s an MP. Part of becoming an elected official is surrendering some of your right to privacy. You are expected to be under greater scrutiny.
There are clear rules about declaring gifts when you become an MP. You need to declare anything you’ve received in the 12 months before.
@andrestopo07@PinoCalad No it doesn’t. Performative security comes first. They have a pathological need to look “hard”, even if it makes people less safe.
