It’s strange how life can change so much in six years.

Back in 2020, all we wanted was for the boys we loved and believed in to debut together. Each vote felt like we were holding someone’s dream in our hands. We were terrified, hopeful, excited, and desperate all at once because we knew that every vote mattered. We thought that was the hardest part. We thought that once ENHYPEN debuted, everything would only get better. We had no idea that life still had so much waiting for all of us.

If someone had told us back then that one day we’d all be standing here, looking toward a future none of us expected, we probably wouldn’t have believed them. Maybe that’s just life. You make plans, life changes them, and somehow you find the strength to keep moving anyway. Looking back now, that’s exactly what we’ve watched the six of you do.

There were so many moments that could’ve broken you. Moments that would’ve made anyone stop. Moments that would’ve made anyone choose a different path. But every single time, when you had every reason to think only about yourselves, you still chose each other. You still chose ENHYPEN. And somehow, even while carrying your own pain, you still chose ENGENES too.

We’ve been thinking about that a lot lately because back in 2020, we thought we were the ones choosing you. Six years later, we realized something that made our hearts ache. This time, you were the ones who chose us. When everything changed and nothing felt certain anymore, the six of you still chose to stay together. You chose to keep ENHYPEN alive. You chose to keep believing that there was still another tomorrow waiting for ENHYPEN and ENGENEs. We don’t think we’ll ever fully understand how difficult that decision must’ve been, but we do know one thing. We’ll never take that choice for granted.

We’re sorry that while you were choosing us during one of the hardest moments of your lives, some of us were still holding on so tightly to yesterday that we forgot to see the six people standing in front of us. We forgot that while our hearts were hurting, yours were probably hurting even more. We forgot that the six of you were probably wondering if we will still be with you. Looking back now, we wish we had answered that question sooner.

We know things haven’t always been easy between us. Sometimes we’ve been too loud to hear your voices. Sometimes we’ve held onto our own feelings so tightly that we forgot to listen to yours. Sometimes the people who were supposed to protect your smiles became another reason they disappeared. That thought hurts us more than we can ever put into words because you’ve always tried so hard to protect us, even when you yourselves needed someone to protect you.

You always tell us that you want to become an ENHYPEN we can always be proud of. We hope you know you’ve never had to earn our pride. We’ve been proud of you every single time life knocked you down and you still found the courage to stand back up. We’ve been proud of you every time you smiled even when we knew it couldn’t have been easy. We’ve been proud of you every time you chose kindness when it would’ve been so much easier to be angry. Most of all, we’re proud that you chose to stay together and keep writing ENHYPEN’s story.

So today, we just want to make you one promise.

LET’S BEGIN AGAIN, TOGETHER.

Not because the past didn’t matter or because it didn’t hurt. It did. It always will. But we don’t want to let yesterday stop us from believing in tomorrow. We believe there are still so many beautiful memories waiting for ENHYPEN and ENGENEs, and we want to make them together.

If tomorrow worries you, then let’s worry together. If tomorrow scares you, then let’s be afraid together. If tomorrow feels uncertain, then let’s take that first step together. Whatever tomorrow brings, we want you to know that we’ll be facing it with you.

Everyone, there’s something I really feel I need to say, and honestly, this is the reason I started this live. I don’t think this is something we can just ignore and move past, especially since Weverse translations are available now.

I know there are a lot of people who really loved our past, and I understand that. There are many people who still love how we used to be. But there also seem to be many people who continue to deny the current ENHYPEN or refuse to accept who we are now.

Since we hadn’t clearly addressed this before, some people have been saying that we never gave a proper statement, and they’ve continued bringing up the number of members.

Of course, I understand the feelings of those who loved ENHYPEN before. But now… ENHYPEN is six members, everyone. ENHYPEN is six members.

I understand why some people still do things like certain fan chants at concerts because we hadn’t clearly said anything until now. I understand that. But it’s really not nice to see ENGENEs fighting among themselves because of this.

To be completely honest, it also disrupts our performances. It really does.

Now that I’ve clearly said this today, I think anyone who truly likes ENHYPEN and supports us will know how they should act going forward.

I’m going to be very clear because I don’t want to speak vaguely anymore. When people keep saying things like ‘ENHYPEN is seven,’ all it does is cause fights within our fandom.

No one wants ENGENEs to fight each other. The company doesn’t want that. ENGENEs don’t want that. And most importantly, the six of us don’t want that.

So from now on, I personally won’t consider people who continue to stir up these kinds of conflicts to be fans.

Honestly, this is exactly why I started this live.

I came here representing the members. I talked with them, and I’m speaking on behalf of all of us. The other five members feel the same way.

So I sincerely hope this stops.

Like I said earlier, it’s honestly very distracting during concerts. People spend a lot of money and time to come see us. Concerts are expensive, and it’s unfair to those fans as well.

So… I really hope everyone stops doing this.

And just to be clear, I’m not saying that our concerts in Brazil and Peru were bad. They were amazing. They were really great performances.

I’m also looking forward to our upcoming concert in Mexico.

Please stop, and I hope everyone takes some time to think about this seriously.
