“BLINK, I’ve had so much on my mind over the past few days that I couldn't bring myself to write this sooner.

I think I felt a deep sense of regret as we marked this 10th anniversary—a milestone I had been looking forward to just as much as you all. It wasn't that I didn't understand how you felt; on the contrary, I empathized with you so deeply that it took me a while to figure out exactly what to say.

My heart feels heavy thinking that I might have made you feel lonelier during that time. Still, I wanted to share my sincere feelings with BLINK, so I’m writing this now.

These past 10 years—growing, cherishing one another, and walking this path together with BLINK—mean the world to me, and celebrating together was what I wanted most. I had hoped that August 8th would be a day filled with smiles and happiness for all of us, so I feel incredibly sorry that things didn't turn out quite the way we’d hoped. I want to sincerely thank the many BLINKs who came out to see us in this sweltering heat; I was so happy to see you after such a long time, and I also want to say how sorry I am.

I am so grateful and overwhelmed with happiness at the fact that we’ve received so much love and built a relationship where we can share that love with one another over the last decade. It wasn't until I got home alone that all those emotions really washed over me. I apologize for the delay in writing this; it took me some time to compose myself, and I couldn't bring myself to speak up right away.

This anniversary was meant to celebrate BLACKPINK’s hard work over the past 10 years and the immense love BLINK has given us. Although we all felt a sense of disappointment, let me say once more: congratulations from the bottom of my heart. Let’s keep making wonderful memories together in the future. I love you, BLINK. 🩷”
