We remain under a ground stop due to an FAA air traffic control issue affecting Southern California airspace. Travelers are encouraged to monitor flight status directly with their airline.
Overnight WedโThurs, PSP will host a planned law enforcement training exercise. Nearby residents may hear activity: this is only training to support emergency preparedness. No cause for concern and no impact to airport operations.
The FAA has asked airlines to reduce flights at 40 major airports starting Nov 7 unless the government shutdown ends. PSP isnโt on that list, but nationwide adjustments could have ripple effects. Check with your airline and weโll keep you posted. โ๏ธ
