The Pivot: If Gold is the "Hedge," Silver is the "Engine." In 2025, Silver outperformed almost every asset on earth, surging ~150% to peak near $84/oz (or ₹2,38,000/kg). It is no longer just "poor man's gold" - it's a critical industrial chokepoint.

Why the "Crazy" Volatility?

The Structural Deficit: We are in the 6th consecutive year of a global silver deficit (~200M oz shortfall). 70% of silver is a byproduct of other mining; you cannot simply "turn up the tap" even if prices double.

The Solar Shift: New solar technology requires 50% more silver than previous generations. With China and Europe mandating massive solar expansion for 2026, the industrial "grab" for physical metal is relentless.

The China Export Controls: Effective TODAY (Jan 1, 2026), China has tightened export licenses for silver. Since they are a primary global refiner, this creates a "squeeze" on physical delivery in London and New York

Mementos by ITC, Jaipur @mementosjaipur is a fairly new property.
Room rent was ~15k, all paid up using green points earned from Atlas

The property itself is very premium, with lots of well maintained greenery and royal Rajasthani ambience.
The villas, the peacocks, the quiet — pure magic.

Spread across 12 acres of Mughal-inspired gardens — this hotel doesn't just offer a stay, it crafts a memory. Highly recommended!
