It’s been just shy of 2 years since this tweet. We just welcomed our second child. I did not handle telling him the news of that pregnancy any better. Also, our dog lives at home with us again.
It’s been a year since I threw a positive pregnancy test at my husband’s head while he was taking the dog out. Now we’ve a 4 month old and my dog lives with my parents for the time being.
Meanwhile we had a neighbor threaten to shoot our baby through the wall because she was crying…because he woke her up by slamming cabinet doors at 1am. And our landlord was just like 🤷🏽♀️ “not our problem”.

@StudentsforLife Adoption is not the opposite of abortion.
Raising your own child is.
Abortion is not the opposite of adoption.
Raising your own child is.
Adoption does nothing for the woman who does not want to be pregnant, and adoption traumatizes the child with lifelong C-PTSD.
@momofdroids My baby was 5lbs 9oz and SO TINY (still is at a month old and just now barely able to wear newborn clothes) and I still don’t understand 1. How she fit inside me and 2. How I pushed that out of my body.
My baby’s first Mother’s Day gift to me was letting me get a solid three or so hours of sleep and not having second night syndrome. So you could say my Mother’s Day is going pretty good despite waking up at 4am.
Not to brag, but I think our baby is the favorite of the nursery nurses because of how much hair she has and how tiny she is compared to the bow on her hat
