With all the talk of referees atm, I think it’s important to wish our Irish contingent the best of luck in Gibraltar on Thursday when Lincoln Red Imps take on PAOK in the @europacnfleague

Pilots warn the Government's decision to delay indoor hospitality will cause the collapse of aviation, tourism and travel sectors
@IALPA@RecovAIRie@VirginMediaNews
The decision of the Irish government last Friday to ignore Rapid #Antigen Tests for travel will only serve to further damage the Irish travel and tourism industry.
More excellent insight from @MarkPaulTimes here:

For anyone who thinks Ireland is not an outlier in its failure to use Antigen testing for the restart of aviation. There has been no explanation for this from Government/NPHET. Maybe NPHET don't understand? @CMOIreland @President_MU
We haven’t met a politician who disagrees with #antigen for travel, which has been approved by Prof Ferguson’s report.
@MichealMartinTD your government is an outlier, acting against the scientific advice of its own appointed experts.
This is beyond a joke.
@eric95962415 @DonnellyStephen @LeoVaradkar@MichealMartinTD@RecovAIRie@laoneill111 This is remarkable. The world is recognizing the benefits of fast, accessible rapid Ag tests that are specific to the infectious period.
The arguments about low sensitivity are over. Yes some are better than others - so use better ones, simple! They are fantastically accurate.
If anyone has any doubt that Ireland is an aviation outlier, here is the skies today at 1300. US and EU getting back to normal, in Ireland you get arrested for going to the airport...this nonsense must stop @RecovAIRie@MichealMartinTD@OCallaghanJim@LeoVaradkar@IALPA
Extending MHQ to the USA and our main EU trading partners effectively leaves us closed to all but the UK.
As with so much else it is something we have stumbled into without a plan. 1/n
Minister there are 143,000 unfortunate enough to work in the sector for which you are responsible. We now see you place no priority on getting them back to work.
Is 'waiting to see" the Irish aviation sector exported a plan?

Who wants to go to San Francisco when this madness is all over? Or Miami? Or maybe Seattle?
Well you won’t be. Not unless our government steps in and supports Irish aviation in a meaningful way. You can’t flick a switch and turn aviation back on. @EamonRyan@LeoVaradkar
