Joe Pavelski, the pride and joy of Plover Wisconsin, who isn’t qualified to coach the U16 AAA Madison Capitals next season according to Ryan Suter, is surfacing as a legitimate candidate to be in the running for the Toronto Maple Leafs coaching vacancy. Pavelski has been drawing interest in the last week or so and I wonder if having the ability to bring his son “Tuna” up to the GTHL would also move the needle if somehow he got the job. Nate is a 15 year old young fella who was drafted by the Waterloo Blackhawks in this past springs’ futures draft. Pavelski Head Coach / Nate plays his last yr of minor hockey in Toronto and furthers his development? This is all pure speculation as I’m extremely stung on a Sunday morning. But that’s why the league runs thru my phone.
