Stirring breezes
Captivate
Shadows dazzle in sunlight
Whispered currents buoy the dreamer
Tickling memories
After a drifting night
In a world so still
Just your breath mingling with my skin
Pores open
Drenched in peaceful contemplation

The white star and moon design
Faintly tinged
Graying, speckled, no longer new
Comfortable and familiar
Well loved, warm
It hangs open the tie dangling
One side dragging
Trailing behind you
As you wander down the aisle

When you could no longer work
Trauma from mental illness dogging you
Or was it
Physical ailments too long to share
You just
No longer
Will go there
Take me as I am
You think

Forgiven just by being you
While I toss and turn
Wavering in the night
Flee or fumble
Love or tumbleweed
Welts semi healed
Scar tissue a fissure

The jarring way
He builds love letters
Always longing for you
Across the sea

Past the broken tree
His misery mingling with the night
As he lays with me

Curled

Wiry bits bursting
Skin dripping
Combed and carded
Softest bits and bobs
Dreamy lengths
Tousled
Prickling skin
Poking itching
Cutting
Braided blessed weaving wrest
Layered
Longed for
Primmed and preened

Hairs unimaginable
Hair-shirts
Hirsute
Bobbed
Robbed
Plucked
Chucked
Shaped
Caped
Coifed
Carded
Milled
Messed
Mussed
Fussed
Everywhere hair and hairs
Unrestrained crowned glory
I feel the stuff
I choke on the debris
I dream of the prickling pulse

There has been too many hairs
Pubic, chest, cat, dog hairs
Every which way you turn
There is hair
Sliding, gliding, curling, twirling
Shiny bright
Bouncy
White
Delicate soft baby hairs
Deliciously curly
Springy spritely hairs
Long flowing locks
Raven haired
Softly slivered
