Surprisingly, Dr. Sanjay Gupta is calling on Donald Trump to release his doctor's report after being shot. He wrote the following in an article for CNN:

"A full public assessment of Trump’s injuries is necessary, for both the former president’s own health and the clarity it can provide for voters about the recovery of the man who could become president of the United States once again. The concern is that gunshot blasts near the head can cause injuries that aren’t immediately noticeable, such as bleeding in or on the brain, damage to the inner ear or even psychological trauma. As a trauma neurosurgeon, I have seen how a thorough evaluation after any kind of gunshot wound can provide a complete picture and lead to a speedier recovery."

He goes on to say, "All of this points to a favorable prognosis. But it is still surprising that we have not heard more about the exact diagnosis and care of what may have been a catastrophic injury. And, while all the attention has been on his ear and right side of his head, that doesn’t mean other injuries may not be present. It’s not even clear that he was struck by a primary projectile from the rifle, a secondary projectile or a combination of both. Sometimes, it can be difficult to know without an in-depth evaluation."

Further, "The stress from a shooting can also have psychological effects."

And, "At this point, however, the Trump campaign hasn’t yet shared whether a full workup was done at the time or if there has been any follow-up since."

We should be demanding to see the medical reports just as MAGA demanded to see those of President Biden which readily were provided.

BREAKING: President Biden makes the stunning announcement that his administration will be forgiving $1.2 billion in student loans — changing the lives of tens of thousands of Americans.

And it gets even better...

The Public Service Loan Forgiveness will cover the debt of 35,000 people, many of whom are teachers, nurses, law enforcement officers, and first responders. They carry an average debt of $35,000.

With this new raft of forgiveness, the total number of people who have received relief from President Biden rises to 4.76 million, a historic accomplishment.

"Today’s announcement comes on top of the significant progress we’ve made for students and borrowers over the past three years," said Biden.

"That includes providing the largest increases to the maximum Pell Grant in over a decade; fixing Income-Driven Repayment so borrowers get the relief they are entitled to under the law; and holding colleges accountable for taking advantage of students and families," he said.

"And earlier this year, I laid out my Administration’s new plans that would cancel student debt for more than 30 million Americans when combined with everything we’ve done so far," Biden added.

Meanwhile, Republicans are fighting tooth and nail in the courts to defeat Biden's income-driven repayment plan because they care about corporate profits, not people.

Trump’s plan to extinguish democracy in America is out of the shadows, along with his enablers.

The level of sycophancy and corruption we have witnessed across our institutions has been a shock to many.

It didn’t happen overnight.

It’s taken them decades, methodically working their way in through local elections all the way to lifetime appointments, recruiting the rich and powerful, harboring the hateful, and amassing a cult of zealots along the way.

You’re probably tired of hearing that every election matters. Character matters. Integrity matters.

You’re witnessing first-hand what happens when it doesn’t.

We now stand on the precipice of a country we barely recognize…women losing their rights, entire communities fearful for their lives, millions threatened with deportation, white supremacy on the rise, rule of law subservient to the wealthy and politically connected…

We won’t fix it overnight.

If it takes years, decades, generations even, so be it.

We will not let America slide into darkness on our watch. Neither will the generations to come. I believe this in my bones.

We will use the tools we have, our voice and our vote, to rebuild and renew the promise of America. To regain faith in our institutions. We will teach our kids to do the same.
