She stated that “The map of India depicted here is incorrect. Jammu and Kashmir is an integral part of India.” Her remarks were made during the discussion, reflecting India's long-standing official position on the issue.

The presenter, former Bangladesh High Commissioner to India Ahmed Tariq Karim, responded that the map had been used only for 𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗽𝘂𝗿𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗲𝘀 and was not intended to show actual international boundaries. Even so, India's objection was placed on record during the seminar.
