@RealBenGeller@JusticeHorn_ Versus a women’s restroom where the criminal be assured that they’ll find a woman? If it’s a problem then single gender bathrooms are way more dangerous. Cheap doors you can see through the gap and find a victim have no place either, legislate doors one can hide behind.
@trevoracorn@staubio Busses from the airport will be following dozens of routes to places across the city. Someone flying into JoCo or Columbia needs a seat to their room and then the game.
@trevoracorn@staubio And there’s not just the stadium. How many fan fest locations will there be? If Swope Park and Shawnee Mission Park each hosts 5000 people need many routes to both of those.
@trevoracorn@staubio So as a result the top need is exprsss point to point service from the airport to hotels, downtown and the stadium. Think more like a short term convention bus than a transit bus.
@trevoracorn@staubio You’re thinking too small. Many will be on charter busses from other cities. Many will fly in/out the same day. There’s 36k hotel rooms in the region and need space for 76k at stadium and ~50k more at events. And subtract what rooms FIFA books.
you can see the third lane appear just past the sign and there's three lanes here. so there's a lot of triple both aspects to this road and not exiting from an exit lane. all the signage to the terminal is so incredibly non-standard it adds to confusion.
@JustinMeyerKC this was my last visit. which arrivals split does this mean? because there's two splits for arrivals curbs and the first one after this sign never uses two lanes. two signs (arr, depart) like GPS where it shows the lanes and arrows would help
Remember the phrase "both" on the digital sign well now that we see this sign half a second before we need to turn we now know both meant "Use Left Lane" because you absolutely never should use the third lane to turn left there, the other "both" lane from before.
@brett_colgan @cityscenekc Is it? There’s tens if not hundreds of thousands of things to break. When you’re there every day of the week how many do you see broken on average? 1% of 10k would be 100 items broken every day of weeks straight that you could document.
