@AdolphsonFalkk The fall was sudden and unwanted from my perspective and I did everything to fight it. I even tried to set her up on dates with others to make barriers between us. Thankfully when I finally confronted it to her, she was open to exploring the possibility, but few are as lucky.

Wake up one day thinking about how she’ll find love and then I’ll lose the awesome friendship we’ve had forever…

She, didn’t catch the hint… and I had to reaffirm my stance several times sadly. She didn’t cry in front of me, but there was tears. Despite talks of still being friends, we never talked again after that. Maybe it could’ve been saved had I been more direct sooner? Only God knows

and unfortunately for her, she had crossed that line to where I could no longer pretend and no longer give her the courtesy of friendship, at least at that point. I let her know by the end that I had a great time but I simply did not like her, and likely never would

@AestheticGamer1 And DO NOT talk about feelings, relationships, or preferences with that person ESPECIALLY if that person aligns with those stated preferences. It helps to give that person as little to read in to as possible. The heart can be delusional, don’t give it fuel.

@AestheticGamer1 Besides it easy to spot the people who use “friendship” as an excuse to get close when you’re not interested. Watching a good friend fall is tough, but don’t soft reject. Hard reject and enforce that ruling. If they start to get mushy wall them out but don’t be cruel.
