Lots of micro power outages and brownouts with the big storm, so I made a UPS out of a car battery, battery charger and 12v-240v inverter. Kept my Starlink connection working… solutions not problems. Kirk out.

@david4thoughts Urban sprawl… Auckland is really good at spreading out rather than making more efficient use of housing. Auckland is a small population compared to most cities yet by area Auckland is huge… lack of planning and strategy to blame, with transport and light pollution probs
