If you're animating in UIKit using Core Animation, the fromValue on your animation should be pulled from the view's layer.presentationLayer not just the view's layer if you want to support flawless interruptibility
@metasidd@treeo you're totally right, the main screen content underneath the header does move a lot further than the background does but the title is tricky because it's in a tight area but I'll keep tweaking it
@pxlboy@treeo yeah! the whole nav transition uses UIPercentDrivenInteractiveTransition, so I already have its 0–1 progress as you edge drag. I can use that same value to interpolate the spring driven translation in real time
My bet: >50% of AI generated videos will be rendered from code.
Cheaper to iterate. Deterministic renders. Every detail editable.
Made this Leica M6 blueprint with GPT-6 Astra in Diffusion Studio.
@WillSigmon@BurgerKing got em in front of me haven't tried them yet!!
okay first bite
they're good, kinda like Wendy's nuggets used to be before they got nerfed
I turned Jev into an image model…? Presenting Jevinci!

The paintings are pure JS, no AI image-gen. Jev predicts every pixel's color in parallel and we paint them. The more confident Jev is in a prediction, the wider the brush.
(sped up 4x)
I built a Photoshop-like image editor. It’s called Compositor.
https://t.co/5EMXCgaWI1
I originally built it for myself to get off my Adobe subscription, but decided to release it for free and make it open source. It has all the essential tools I need for compositing, with none of the BS.
I know this workflow is kind of archaic in 2026, but I’m still using it until AI can actually get pixel-perfect on some of the details.
The entire app is 12MB. Photoshop is 6,455MB on my machine.
Always wanted to play with my physical Pokémon cards in AR, so I unleashed Astra + CLAD on it… they did not disappoint!

Basically a fully playable proto with all 151 mons from SV 151.

I've been building websites and software for 25 years and it still blows my mind that I don't spend all day in an IDE anymore
If you'd asked me at ANY point during the first 20 years whether I'd still be writing code in 2026, the answer would've been uhhhh yeah duh
