Actually, this is a recipe for a really rewarding life if you’re a recent college grad not sure what to do: Find a small town you could love with a local newspaper whose owners are ready to retire. Raise the capital to buy it. Run it with the community’s interests at heart. You’ll not get rich, but you’ll do well. More importantly you’ll be a hero to the community and have influence even early in your career. You’ll meet the love of your life at some event you wouldn’t otherwise get invited to. Have kids who will be proud to call you their parent. And make your corner of the world meaningfully better. If anyone wants to seriously follow this recipe and just lacks the capital, happy to talk.

It should be illegal for flight attendants to do their talking thing after midnight. If you don’t know what to do with the oxygen masks when they drop down, you’re on your own. 🤷♀️
@debracleaver Also my new favorite bedtime routine is responding to your tweets while texting you. Maybe we could start a fb messenger chat for good measure?
Are you referring to Marie Kondo's second book, "Sparking Pain", where she asks people to create spreadsheets, and then accidentally deletes them, and then panic-calls them in the middle of the night to ask for said spreadsheet?

Having watched these videos many times now, my favorite part is when @AlexKronman is asked "Why should someone join flytedesk?" and his answer is "We are very joinable!"

🤔If I was hiring #summerinterns on culture fit alone, I think I'd pick the ones who submit their resume at 11:59pm this Friday. Journalism runs deep in these company veins.
