Nah… Zuko never actually figured out that Iroh was “sabotaging” him.
From Zuko’s perspective, Iroh just seemed like a carefree uncle giving bad timing advice or getting distracted at the worst moments. But in reality, Iroh was subtly guiding him away from destructive paths and toward the Gaang.
And the lotus tile? That was just Iroh playing the long game with trust and patience, not something Zuko ever caught onto in Season 1.
My favorite is probably “The Tales of Ba Sing Se.”
Not because it has the biggest fight, but because it shows every character at their most human, especially Iroh’s story with his son. It’s one of the few episodes where the war pauses and you really feel who these characters are outside the conflict.
