@Vodacom111 Yes the WA ticket is active. As I said, problem seems related to either settings in the android system, maybe only on Xiaomi devices. I relay the info in case you see something like this again. There are several settings to check. DM if you need details.

@vodacom111 loaded a 1Gb whatsapp ticket on my prepaid last week with about 2mb of data left. After it ran out the whatsapp didn't activate. Did the usual; airplane mode, update whatsapp, restart phone, check network setting but no luck. Ticket shows as loaded in balances. ??

@Vodacom111 I continued to look for a solution & found that it might be a problem with the android system settings on Xiaomi phones & then Whatsapp won't communicate with the network until you turn the data off and on again with WA open. Possible fixes here https://t.co/ZcHHIG4HEh
