An interactive business-cum-networking session was organised in the High Commission attended by a visiting business delegation from the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and several leading business companies' representatives in Namibia.

High Commissioner in his remarks emphasized the immense trade and business potential between India and Namibia and urged for a collaborative effort to drive economic development and growth in both nations.

The Confederation of Indian Industry, organised a successful business delegation to Cameroon from 20-24 September 2024, in collaboration with CWEIC. The delegation held key meetings with HE Mr Joseph Ngute (@Josephdionngute), Prime Minister of Cameroon, and seven ministries in Yaoundé, including Public Works, Energy & Water, Mines & Industry, Trade & Commerce, Transport, Education, and Finance.

In addition, the delegation took part in a Business Matchmaking session organised by the Cameroon IPA SPELL OUT, which saw over 200 attendees from the Cameroonian business community. The visit continued in Douala with B2B meetings at the Cameroon Chamber of Commerce and a tour of Douala Port Authority. The delegation also visited CWEIC’s Cameroon Hub at the Cameroon National Shippers’ Council, further reinforcing ties between the Commonwealth and Cameroonian business sectors.

This delegation marks the strengthening of collaborative efforts following the recent MoU signed between CWEIC and CII. This partnership highlights our shared commitment to fostering economic growth and investment opportunities across the Commonwealth, demonstrating how strategic cooperation can drive impactful results.
