I totally get why the missing limbs might look suspicious, but the video is 100% real! It’s Bobby Humphreys, a former bodybuilder from Boonsboro, Maryland, who runs Big Guy Littles World Sanctuary. After his 17-year marriage ended and he fell into deep depression, a friend’s Chihuahua named Lady literally saved his life in 2017. That sparked his mission to rescue neglected, abused, and abandoned Chihuahuas—especially the tough cases no one else wants, like seniors, fear biters, and “misfit toys” with severe injuries from their past lives (which explains the missing limbs from abuse, accidents, or medical issues).
In October 2018, he turned his home into the official sanctuary, now housing around 99–100 Chihuahuas plus a cat named Mowgli. It’s all documented in real news features from The Dodo and years of consistent posts showing daily life with the same dogs. No AI—just a big-hearted guy doing incredible (and very real) work for these little ones. 🐶❤️🤗
