@Athar_Ink Prophet (saw) never chose anyone Caliph. If he would, he would have chose either Umar, Ali or Hamzah (if alive). Prophet (saw) never considered Abu Bakr (ra) to have leadership qualities as Abu Bakr lacked both Administrative , military qualities & strong family background.

@Naqshbandiyyy As a Sunni there is no such superiority of Abu Bakr or Umar. Not a single Hadith says so. This is later wahabi construct. Prophet never chose Abu Bakr as his successor. He literally had to fight Ridda wars to consolidate his Caliphate.

@IKON1436 As a Sunni it is not the Position of Ahli Sunnah wal jamah (it is a wahabi position). Also Islam was completed by Prophet (saw) himself. Abu Bakr or any one has nothing to do with anyone's emaan. One may reject any Caliph and will still be Muslim.
