Unfortunately @qualty_agent is shutting down
It's been an interesting 3 months and I learned a lot along the way. However...
Qualty was built to help traders navigate the scammy landscape of larp launches - an autonomous agent that did the due diligence for you, digging through projects and flagging stuff before you even had a chance to look into it. And the tech itself genuinely worked. Heavy LLM engineering doing real autonomous research on every scan. That part I'm proud of
But the simple truth is that the utility meta Qualty was built for never fully formed. I still believe ICM is coming to pump fun but between the crypto winter, the lack of launches and the lack of real utility, the product just wasn't that useful to people right now. You can't find product-market fit in a market that doesn't yet exist
And the burn rate was big. Multiple API subscriptions added up to thousands in costs every month. $QUALTY was supposed to cover that runway, but in utility plays the product is what drives value to the token and with no adoption, the token never got traction either. No adoption, no token, no runway. That's the whole story
Lost 5 figs between the tech expenses and supporting the token, and for a while it genuinely felt like I failed. In hindsight, failing as a team is an experience we needed. I still stand by quality over quantity. The core problem (to scale tf out) with both of our platforms was the same - the audience was too niche, and the problems we were solving only exist under specific market conditions (utility/streaming). When these conditions shift (or never come to fruition in this case) the project loses interest
I'm taking those lessons with me. And honestly, bear market is the best time to figure out product-market fit for whatever is coming next
See you all in the trenches.
The human-in-the-loop bottleneck is what's killing every trader on chain
Every minute spent waiting for you to read a chart, doing research and evaluating a project is a minute the market already moved past
The edge belongs to whoever pulls the human out of the loop first
Been A/B testing whether extended thinking helps at the cheap tier of our verification pipeline. The routing: Haiku first (cheap), escalate to Sonnet only when stuck (noProgressCount >= 1)
Extended thinking lets the model deliberate before answering - uses a 1024-token scratchpad billed as expensive output ($15/MTok vs $3 input). Naively it should add cost.
Ran the same verification 4 times. Turns out the opposite: $0.58 with thinking, $0.66 without. Without thinking, 36% of Haiku steps hit 'no visible change' - increments noProgressCount, triggers Sonnet escalation
11 Sonnet calls total. With thinking, only 4% triggered warnings. 8 Sonnet calls. Fewer escalations paid for the thinking tokens.
Security matters in web3. We get it
That's why the @qualty_agent extension is now 100% open-source
Don't trust us - read the code. Or build it yourself and run it locally if that's more up your alley
Updates will be pushed constantly and always visible in our public repo

The Qualty extension is now live on the Chrome Webstore!
We have made the decision to release our own extension, allowing us to push more frequent updates independently of Phocaine
This step will facilitate the scale-up of Qualty where all latest updates to our platform will become available to our extension users immediately
Utility is the future of crypto - don't sleep on it
The extension is available here: https://t.co/Mev9h2kxrU
Tokens entering the verification pipeline through Qualty Monitor now also receive automatic checks from the Qualty Sprinter module
Running in parallel with the browser agent, Sprinter quickly checks if the contract address is mentioned on the website and also verifies whether the social account link-outs match
Results are instantly visible via the @Phocaine_ extension or in the $QUALTY Discord channel

Will be participating in the @colosseum hackathon with @qualty_agent as well!
Excited to push it further, expect a past-paced month with many more updates to come
99.99% of all onchain transactions in 2 years will be driven by agents, bots, and LLM-based wallets and trading products
The UI is disappearing into language
Weโre preparing for this future by shipping more APIs, more documentation, and more skills

Spent today refining our docs and monitoring the Discord webhook integration
If you havenโt yet - give the docs a read. Latest updates are in, and upcoming plans are laid out much more clearly

Also dug into this weekโs Qualty Monitor data. Already spotting some interesting patterns and edge cases weโll need to handle
More on those soon

Qualty v0.5.1
Utility-positive scan notifications, multimodal filtering on Qualty Monitor
- Qualty discord now has a channel continuously pushing notifications about the newest QA-verified tokens, so our community members find out about the latest utility projects first
- Qualty Monitor allows a more complex suite of filters to be applied, allowing users to tailor their search profile based on their thesis
- Reverify button has been added to the Qualty Monitor, permitting a manual second verification attempt
- Qualty Agent was refactored, speeding up the cross-talk between the database and the front end as well as email connection flows
Another step closer to reframing the narrative around crypto
Stay tuned for more
