This “we are Gen Z” has become the new “jaantay nahin ho mera baap kaun hai”. The quickest way to erode any Gen Z goodwill is to start using it as a threat at the slightest perceived affront.
Once at Louvre, a French friend asked me how I felt about the Monalisa. I said "It's ok, looks nice."
They were in disbelief at my nonchalant reaction. I explained, in India:
- we see exceptional artwork in our nearby temples,
- hear exceptional traditional music from neighbors,
- read exceptional poetry from 1000 years ago,
- learn exceptional philosophies from 2000 years ago,
- enjoy exceptional superhero stories from 3000 years ago
- and see exceptional statues from 1000s of years ago
- all just like that, all around us, as part of our daily life
So all other work, be it the latest Hollywood Marvel universe flick or a Monalisa or a Mozart, they don't move us so much or make us go "wow" even as we appreciate and enjoy that art.
Just like how a person growing up in Switzerland isn't going to go "wow" entering New Zealand. But a person from Rajasthan may.
Indians should think about this and understand the richness of our culture. This is why we don't take to western names and western clothes and western culture in marriages or western music like the Chinese do.
By the way, this statue is more than a thousand years old 👇

The parties and some individuals spreading such fake narrative and propaganda should have verified the facts before circulating it and should have corrected their mistake. It is such disgraceful action, highly condemnable.
I am going to take legal action against the parties and persons for deliberately spreading propaganda against me.

In a civilization like India which invented cold pressed seed oils and ghee thousands of years ago, and ate them for thousands of years without issues, a foreign company called Dada marketed hydrogenated vegetable fat as a "healthy alternative" to Ghee as early as 1930s and won people's minds with "Dalda."
The power of mental programming by clever marketing is real and dangerous. Indians are going through it right now at an unprecedented rate via social media. Indians are made to hate their own country and look up to superficial others.
Just like hydrogenated vegetable fat with transfats was proven to be dangerous to health decades later, and Indians are turning back to cold pressed oils and ghee, one day everyone will realize they made a mistake hating their own country for some others shown as great now.
But that day may be too late.
I wish I was making this up.
Months after Tarun Tejpal raped a junior colleague, Newslaundry published an open letter to the victim calling her a “bubblegum feminist” who was whining about a “small occurrence”.
And that was just the start.

The Commonwealth Games is becoming a daily roll-call of young Indians who have emerged from unimaginable hardship & horrors to win gold.
Look at 23-year-old judoka Asmita Dey, who is now the first Indian to win Commonwealth Games gold in the women’s 48kg category.
7 months ago, she lost her father to a brain stroke. A bicycle mechanic who earned barely ₹300 a day, he raised his family in a mud house in a small village in Tripura. When a knee injury threatened Asmita’s career, he found the money to take her to Delhi for treatment.
Even as the family mourned, Asmita’s mother urged her daughter to return to training, believing that abandoning the dream would betray everything her father had sacrificed for.
She now stands on top of the Commonwealth Games podium with a gold medal around her neck.
A Golden Chapter in Indian Judo 🥇
Asmita Dey stands atop the podium as the National Anthem echoes through Glasgow, becoming the first Indian judoka to win Gold at the Commonwealth Games Glasgow 2026. 🙌

THERE ARE TWO SIDES TO EVERY STORY. BUT POLITICS ENSURES ONLY ONE IS TOLD. BUT THIS YOUNG WOMAN DEMANDS TO BE HEARD.
"My father was almost lynched to death. He suffered head injuries. He was dragged by a violent mob. His uniform was soaked in blood. But when I opened social media, I was shocked to see my father being portrayed as the villain."
INDEED. They perform one of the most thankless jobs in the country.
A job that demands they put their lives on the line so that law and order holds.
Whatever your politics, no family should have to watch a loved one risk their life in service, only to see them vilified without regard for the facts.
I see FIRs being filed for filthy language against young adults. I advise all children to mind their language and avoid using parliamentary words in public. Internet can't be expunged and you have no privilege. /s

GLISCO-DS created protests against Adani in Kenya for a deal they secured with the govt of Kenya by doing propaganda that the project affects the environment, is over priced etc.
This was entirely done using social media in Kenya instigating their citizens against India and Adani by state sponsored psyops.
The protests in Kenya was also used to hit Adani in India by turning Indians against the company and used for politics. Now, a few years later, a Chinese company got the same project for 1.5x the price Adani quoted and won.
There are no protests in Kenya now. It is the same project, same environmental concerns, much higher price, and we can be sure the project will use mostly Chinese engineers and won't care much about any regulation.
Please tell this story to your concerned friend who gets easily instigated against India's companies and development plans seeing Insta reels. Share it with your Kenyan friends.
This is how they do psyops, derail Indian companies, hit Indian development, and then profit of it. Do not let them protest against development in Anadaman or Adani again.
The same Kenya toolkit is being used to derail India's strategic development and destroy strategic companies.
