Not only is the UK not stopping asylum applications from Afghans.
The Home Office says it’s not “safe” to return Afghans to Afghanistan.
So they make Britain unsafe instead.
This madness must end.
We have an evil Commie government.
They will lie shamelessly because the end justifies the means in their warped view.
They want to stop trial by jury and suppress free speech because they know how much they are hated.
The British will defeat them, I can promise you that.
Sack Reeves Now.
We have learned that the Chancellor misrepresented the OBR’s forecasts. She sold her Benefits Street Budget on a lie. Honesty matters.
Tell Starmer what he must already know: she has to go.

Reeves dumps the big pile of shite on the doorstep of every small business in Britain, then just forgets about it and moves on with her life. Salary safe, job safe. No concerns about paying the bills in the Reeves household, or indeed any of the civil servants who devised this skip fire of a budget.
They don’t care. They don’t understand, but more important they just don’t care.
Straight out of university, work for some anonymous Labour MP, maybe a think tank or a charity if we’re feeling adventurous. Then straight into life as a backbench MP or some random civil servant in the Treasury. How many have run a business? Created wealth? Generated jobs? Done anything?! SOD ALL.
It’s easy looking at the spreadsheets. Thinking oh a dividend rate rise here, or freezing that threshold - that’ll cover the numbers needed to hike up welfare. There are VERY real world consequences to all of these decisions.
Businesses are still reeling from the NI changes last year. And I mean reeling. Not enormous businesses had to find £300k? Possibly more to cover these rises?
What happens then, Rachel?
Costs get passed on. Contracts stall. Hiring cancelled. Investment paused. It grinds the economy to a halt. Businesses stop spending money. Redundancies. OBVIOUSLY.
How can they not understand this? Honestly? I cannot fathom the sheer vastness of their incompetence. All of this to fund those who choose not to work. Leaves a real sour taste in the mouth, doesn’t it?
Running a business is hard work, bloody hard work. It doesn’t just happen, and it doesn’t just work. It takes years of long days and sleepless nights. All that, with lots and lots of risk. There is no backup or a safety net. It works, or it doesn’t work. It’s brutal. I’m sorry to say that the vast majority of my MP colleagues simply do not understand that.
It is overwhelmingly depressing.
The ONLY way to get the economy firing is to reduce tax, reduce the size of the state and let businesses do what they do best - make money.
And actually, if you let them keep more of it? They’ll do more. Work more. Pay more tax.
THAT is how you grow the economy. That is the ONLY way.
This will be a tough weekend for the Chancellor. She knew almost six weeks before the Budget from the OBR there was no ‘black hole’. Yet she and the Treasury still stoked up the idea that there was — and it would take big tax rises to fill it.
By Oct 31 she knew from the OBR there was actually £4bn headroom rather than a black hole. Yet still on Nov 5th she commandeered breakfast media to roll the pitch for big tax rises.
Even by mid-November she was telling the BBC if Labour stuck to its manifesto commitments (ie no income tax rises) she’d need deep cuts to capital investment.
None of what she said in the run up to the Budget was true. The Treasury select committee needs to ask her why she so misled the Parliament, the markets and the British people.
She raised taxes to give herself some more headroom and to pay for yet another increase in (largely welfare) spending.
The tax burden is going to all-time record level for a simple reason: the Labour manifesto said public spending would be around £10bn higher than Tory plans by 2028/29. In reality on the latest projections it will be £179bn higher!!! Nothing to do with filling in black holes.
Rachel Reeves is a liar who should be sacked.
For months she lied to the public to justify her tax hikes to pay for more welfare.
Labour has put Party politics above national interest to save their own political skin.
Labour lied to the country. https://t.co/tDrXtw4Xem
Socialism is when you take £10,000 from one productive person who works & give £1,000 to 10 people who do not work, and then blame the one productive person for all the country’s problems so the 10 people will vote for you
Then the productive people leave & the system implodes on itself
👉BBC upholds a complaint about a presenter telling the truth - and considered her facial expression to express a "controversial view about trans people".
BBC goes full 1984...
The issue with Rachel Reeves is the same issue we've seen with all the other Labour scandals. It's not the scale or nature or offence. It's the off-hand way Keir Starmer dismisses breaches of the rules and law by his own Ministers, having spent years castigating the Tories for similar offences, and pledging a total transformation of standards in public office.
This week the Government's failure to find a solution to the Maccabi ban was then overshadowed by the revelation a small boat migrant had returned after less than a month, which in turn was overshadowed by the collapse of the rape gang inquiry, which in turn was overshadowed by Labour's collapse in Wales, which in turn was overshadowed by the conclusive proof Starmer lied over China, which in turn has been overshadowed by the revelation the Epping sex offender is on the loose. One week. One. Week.
Let’s get this right. So Angela Rayner votes against MPs receiving severance pay-offs in dodgy circumstances. Then she fiddles her stamp duty and gets fired. Presumably she doesn’t take the payoff? Wrong. Today she picked up £17,000. No wonder we hate politicians.
Since the Hamas massacre of 7 October 2023, there has been a horrific rise in antisemitism.
Hourly anti-Israel stories by @BBCNews and others, hateful protests by the left have made life dangerous for British Jews.
Today’s heinous attack on a synagogue is where it leads.
Not just a dreadful, dishonest speech by Starmer. But a wicked one, inciting hatred against his popular opponent to save his own sorry backside.
No longer fit to be Prime Minister. Just go, @Keir_Starmer@Nigel_Farage
