Today, 32 trainees from @KayonzaDistrict are engaged in hands-on tractor operation sessions to prepare for tomorrow’s Category F Driving License Test. Their training is supported by Kilimo Trust through the KIIWP-2 Project, in collaboration with RP-Gishari College. During this 3-month training, the program has focused on equipping participants with practical skills to enhance employment opportunities and promote sustainable modern agriculture through the use of farm machinery. @RwandaPolytec

The Embassy of the Republic of Rwanda in the Republic of Korea was honored to meet Dr. Ra Kyoung-kyun, CEO of Saemangeum Development Corporation, and his team in Saemangeum.

We commend Dr. Ra and his team for their leadership in advancing the Saemangeum Development Project, a transformative initiative contributing significantly to the growth, innovation, and sustainable development of Jeollabuk-do Province.

The visit, coordinated and attended by H.E. Ambassador Kim Young-chae, President of the Korea-Africa Foundation, provided an excellent opportunity to explore areas of mutual interest, particularly in smart agriculture and innovation-driven development.

Rwanda looks forward to building a strong partnership with Saemangeum Development Corporation and advancing practical cooperation that supports sustainable growth and shared prosperity.

The Rwandan community in the Republic of Korea was honored to be hosted by H.E. Olivier J.P. Nduhungirehe, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Republic of Rwanda, on the sidelines of the 2026 Korea–Africa Foreign Ministers’ Meeting in Seoul.

The engagement provided an opportunity for an open and constructive exchange on Rwanda’s continued progress, national priorities, and the important contribution of the diaspora to the country’s development and international outreach. The Minister also shared updates on Rwanda’s foreign policy priorities and ongoing efforts to strengthen partnerships that support the country’s development agenda.

Hosted at the Embassy of the Republic of Rwanda in the Republic of Korea, the meeting reflected the Embassy’s continued commitment to strengthening its engagement with the Rwandan community and supporting their contribution to Rwanda’s development and international outreach.
