@EvieWolff19284@GBNEWS Some might suggest perhaps immigration is a smaller problem, but it's being 'made' the biggest problem to distract us from the actual biggest problem. The US can spend a billion dollars a day on a war nobody wanted yet can't afford health insurance for it's poorest citizens.
@economartplus@IRanMediaco Have you ever been to China? It's not a third-world country. They've got technology here that America can only dream of. Canada's population is over 40 million, and the rest of the world is looking at the USA and thinking 'no thanks'.
@CF_Farrow Most mosques are funded and/or maintained by donations. And the The Church of England is one of the largest largest land owners in the UK. We are not a Christian country anymore, but we should make sure everyone has the right to worship how they see fit.
@GadSaad This is demonstrably NOT TRUE. Even Grok says it's a false narrative. When did we, as a country, lose our ability to not blindly believe every stupid, baseless claim we see on social media. What happened to critical thinking, or even just actually thinking for ourselves?
@DipBrig11@BBCBreaking@BBCNews Weather does indeed change. That's why clever scientist people, who are experts in this sort of thing, look at long-term patterns and make predictions based that information. Human-induced climate change is happening. Who knew?
The ones that listened to the science.
@DipBrig11@BBCBreaking@BBCNews Some places have had over 170% of the monthly average rainfall in the first week of February. It's not that it's raining, it's that it's raining a lot more. A warmer climate increases the intensity of rain. So yes, it is winter, but let's look at the bigger picture.
@7tscwhu@Heccles94 ๐๐๐ Great response, mate. Really representing your side. And then you wonder why people who are more politically central are wary of the political right. That's wiy Reform won't get anywhere near a majority.
@ConnorHallam10@Eastenlighten@NileGardiner Yep, turnout at the 2024 election was just under 60%. With the FPTP system that equated to a large majority in terms of seats, rather than actual votes. If we had Proportional Representation it would stop that. But we already voted against tha lt because we're idiots.
@ConnorHallam10@Eastenlighten@NileGardiner Also, Brexit was voted on by 72.2% of the eligible electorate, and of those, 51.9% voted to leave. So that's approx. 38% percent of eligible UK voters. Just over a third. Not a 'majority'.
@DavidWa36472144 @QprEver From what I've read of their 'policies' not one of those things will be improved by Reform. They're not going to get into power anyway, most likely result is a hung parliament and which other party is going to want to work with Reform and the Russians?
@TRobinsonNewEra When you say 'locked away' was that because you were fighting for Britain's children, or for mortgage fraud, passport fraud, contempt of court and probably some other stuff?
