@JoeMerrick It’s a guarantee for a bigger showcase soon. Just be patient. Regardless of what you saw or didn’t see today the release is at the same time.
@AndreSegers I get your take, but honestly does it matter? Release is 2026, so you are going to get a blowout in the next 1-2 months. Same with Duskbloods which they showed nothing of substance. I’d rather have constant Nintendo news to watch and wake up to then see it all immediately.
@PlayerEssence Yep. Retailers can price how they want, and Nintendo still gets the wholesale price they are asking. Walmart betting on quantity sold to make the margin dollars back from pricing lower.
@TheSwitchForce I get it. But I think you are concentrating too much on the Rhythm Heaven and Switch Sports. Fire Emblem, Splatoon, and Zelda are huge.
@Stealth40k@Chris_Dring Do you feel that slightly softer sales overall for years to come will motivate Nintendo to get the eventual successor console out sooner? My bet is 6 years vs. the 8 we had between Switch 1 and 2. I think this is a good thing for both Nintendo and consumers.
@ZombieIanBrooks@Stealth40k Yeah, agree not to go overboard. But do 10-15 and give them some challenging optional puzzles, or optional boss fights. Also vary the ways they are discovered - put some down in a cave, or atop a rock formation that requires some platforming to reach
@Stealth40k It’s just odd that they didn’t make the desert just a little more interesting. A few more shrines, caves, mirages, oasis, rock formations, jumps, optional boss fights, more interesting GF debris areas, underground tunnels from the worm creatures, simple weather system.
@Chris_Dring To be only a few thousand units (let’s say it’s 4K units), and be a 15% drop that would suggest something in this ballpark, 27k units Dread, 23k units Beyond.
