I am thrilled to announced that I am an official #PokemonPartner; a scheme set up by TPCi (@PokemonNewsUK) to help me and others work closer with them.

This will provide many opportunities to bring some really cool stuff to you all in the future.

I am so excited!

So as it's the anniversary of Serebii today, and I don't have a game or DLC to cover, I'm going to be streaming and it's to get Shiny Celebi!

Come in and let's talk Pokémon, 30th Anniversary, the future and more!

Today marks 27 years since I began Serebii!

I truly cannot thank you enough for all your support as the site continues to grow and reach new heights. The fact that so many of you trust me daily really means the absolute world to me.

@KingPalawaJoko We're good, don't worry

[Joe Merrick @JoeMerrick]

Just in time for Serebii30.

This makes me so happy. I can't wait.

@eruben_thillior Yeah I'm aware. All ILCA led Pokémon games are down due to it.

Serebii's flat-file so we're good but will upgrade when the patch is out regardless

This coming year will be bringing new challenges with the road to Winds & Waves, more Pokopia and Champions and more so I will continue to do my best to provide the best coverage on the Internet for all things Pokémon

Thanks as always for all the support, I won't let you down.

[Joe Merrick @JoeMerrick]

This year brought a brand new challenge with Pokopia and through it, the site has reached heights that it has never seen day-to-day.

As always,from the bottom of my heart, thank you all for your trust. I am living my dream because of each of you who use Serebii.

[Joe Merrick @JoeMerrick]

@LordHefford Yeah there's no Relicanth with goggles

[Joe Merrick @JoeMerrick]

@AceTrainerLiam Games typically take a year to be added to the platform as we saw with Mario Kart World and Donkey Kong Bananza

If they have a CD soundtrack, it's typically around a year from the soundtrack's launch. That was in January

[Joe Merrick @JoeMerrick]

@Mozzla_ Na that was teasing Mega Mewtwo X ex

[Joe Merrick @JoeMerrick]

The existence of Special Packs is making me hopeful that one day we will get Halloween themed packs, Christmas themed packs etc.

Whimsical stuff such as that is what Pokémon TCG Pocket is really missing

@Uber_Noob_VGC Unfortunately the resellers ruined them

[Joe Merrick @JoeMerrick]

@PokeDropTicker Pokémon GO has it?

[Joe Merrick @JoeMerrick]

@AndrAIaLove @jarmanVGC No special text for it. It's such a fringe case that they haven't added any special handling for it

[Joe Merrick @JoeMerrick]

@WobbandRoRo @SerebiiNet They are coming out in Japan in December

[Joe Merrick @JoeMerrick]

@YagikoEnCh Better to email and not need to have than need to have and not email!

On this day in 1996, 30 years ago, the first cards for the Pokémon Trading Card Game were released.

Since then there has tens of thousands of cards across all Pokémon generations
